Unlike many market alternatives based on ultrasonic sensing, OceanWatcher utilizes industrial radar technology. Radar measurement provides improved stability and reliability in harsh outdoor environments affected by temperature variation, humidity, wind, and surface disturbance.
OceanWatcher operates within the Emiko Ecosystem and can be extended with Forecast and Warning modules. Water level data can optionally be forwarded to national authorities such as DMI through dedicated integration modules, supporting professional climate and coastal monitoring projects.
